We had kinda slow service but the food was great. My husband just had a fried egg sandwich and I had a pancake and cheese grits but all of it was good. They also have great mimosas!

Where do I start. The service is just ok and we are here on a week day so I couldn't imagine the weekend when there busy. I ordered the French toast with bananas. It was edible but that's it. This was the thinnest bread I've ever seen dipped in something it was overlooked you needed a knife to cut it. Also ordered sausage patties and they were burnt we didn't even eat them. Can't say we will be eating here again:(

The beach hash is AMAZING! Spicy, cheesy and incredibly tasty. We ran in for a late breakfast and were not disappointed. The server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a must visit place!

Mikes is an awesome option for breakfast, never eaten another meal here. It's a classic diner spot with great breakfast options, like hash browns and biscuits which I love! Definitely a top 3 option for breakfast at the beach that I highly recommend. I come here every time I visit!

Great breakfast before our beach day! And great service and staff. What we were looking for

Very average, I got the soft shell crab Benedict and the eggs were not properly poached at all, way over done. The coffee was extremely bland. Biscuits and gravy were good but everything else was pretty disappointing.

Pretty tasty bfast for the money. I had the Benedict hash browns which were very good. The grits had a big to much salt. My bf had the fried chicken and waffle he liked it. Overall this is a no frills easy going been there forever breakfast place. Thanks!

You cant go wrong with mikes. Nice place mike thought of it before you got there all the way to spoon already in the coffee cup to the banana pudding with vanilla wafers. My wife had waffles bacon eggs and grits, while i had the seafood omelette. Both were delicious. We then each got T shirts for $15 each and coffee mugs for $5 each. Great experience for our last meal in PCB before heading home.

Although I heard that the Oysterbar side of Mikes was great, the Diner side wasn't good at all. Tried it two times. The omlettes were made by pouring eggs on the grill, and then scooping COLD ingredients in them. Cold onions, cold ham, barely melted cheese. The eggs over medium I ordered the day before came runny and cd as well. I'm not sure when serving toast sans the butter started, but I'm not a fan. By the time you're finished buttering your own toast, your meal is even colder. Lastly, I know this sounds not picky - but it's a theme. A bright orange extension cord running from the front of the fish tank (up into the ceiling can't be code. If they don't care about that, what other corners are cut? I LOVE Ma & Pa Diners. This place wasn't good. I had high hopes.

This is the place I go to for breakfast every morning I can. I have never had a bad meal at Mike's. It can be hard to get a seat, at times but even when crowded, the service is good.

Great shrimp! The shrimp poboy was excellent. Paired it with a local beach beer. I would recommend this place.

Mike's is a diner. Quick service. Lots of choices. No frills. They do have a fishtank though. But there was one dead fish. Not crazy cheap but def not expensive. The waitress had some real deal southern twang, and pushed the grits. Bathroom has the never-ending cloth hand towel thing, which has it's charm, but is a little icky. Which may sum up this place?

First, this review is for the oyster bar/seafood side of Mike's. We've eaten here twice in 2 days. Yes, twice. Off the hook good food, chill atmosphere and cheap. The oysters ( raw and baked) are excellent, the local shrimp is divine, and the key lime pie was great. Go. Eat. Relax.

Great food, good prices! This is the spot for local style food. Only down side it doesn't have any atmosphere.

Average. Very weak coffee for $1.50. Almost like colored water it was so weak. Went for breakfast and food was average. Bacon was thin and looked microwaved. No flavor. Service was good but breakfast was average and prices were high as most everything is a side order unless you like grits. Hashbrowns were $1.00 extra. My biggest complaint is the weak coffee. You could see daylight through the pot of coffee the waitresses were carrying around. Bacon was bad also.

Went in, smelled smoky, looked unclean and did an about face out of there. May be your style but wasn't mine. Another broken egg and first watch were good brkfst choices but off the strip!

In PCB for a week. Kept going back to Mike's after trying and being disappointed in other area seafood places. Good, non-pretentious seafood.

Good old fashion diner. Went for breakfast and was very pleased.

A party of four had lunch at the oyster bar on Friday afternoon for the first time. First, there was no one else seated except for the bar. The waitress did not know the menu (asked about a salad and she did not know what it came with). She did offer us dessert which was a plus. The second order of raw oysters took a long time to get to our table. There was another table eating at that time but still. I liked the onions & peppers on the Philly cheesesteak sandwich but it was bland. Fries were very good and the two salads ordered were very good. We were overcharged by $23 (she redid it twice) - she then told me she was new and learning - why a manager was not helping her I do not know and why a manager did not apologize for the errors on the bill I do not know. PS We have a favorite oyster bar but wanted to give Mike's a chance. Sorry not too impressed.

This is just a good ol fashion diner. Good food, good prices, good people. They only serve breakfast and lunch, so they close at 2. But definitely work going and trying out. If you go to the woman's bathroom, you might get a little suprise... something kinda odd.... My mom warned me before i went, and when i walked in... I couldn't help but bust out laughing... hard, at what i saw. lol. =)

I'm giving it 3 stars for the quality of the food. Which was good. Now to the service... Our waitress had a bad attitude, almost daring us to question her, and she gave horrid service from beginning to end. It took her 17 minutes to take our order and another 12 minutes to bring our drinks. No refills after that. Our constant requests for cream, napkins, etc. were met with more attitude. Needless to say she got no tip....am, napkins, etc. were met with more attitude. Needless to say she got no tip....

Waitress was very busy yet our noticeably good service never slowed. Great all American type breakfast place. A little disappointed by how paper thin the bacon was.

First, a rant... why the other reviewer gave it only three stars is beyond me... mostly, I think people like to bitch annomously on the internet... If you would reccomend it, and you like it, how is it only three stars? I digress... a local, clean, fresh place to eat. NOt that crowded, they move the people in and out, and the food is GOOD!!! cannot go wrong with beach hash... Come people, this is not an IHOP, it s a great little place! How you could give it below 4 stars is beyond me...

This place is a definite PCB staple. Their home fries are out of this world. The rest of their food is satisfactory. The staff has always been accommodating and friendly with quick service. It's inexpensive, and the food is a step up from Waffle House. If you need a quick refuel after a long drive in, or before a lazy beach day I say stop in.
